General Performance Requirements

Almost Human performances are designed to adapt across a wide range of venues and event environments, from private events and corporate productions through to festivals, music venues and large-scale outdoor shows.

Final technical requirements may vary depending on venue size, audience capacity and production scale.

Minimum Requirements

  • Safe and stable performance area

  • Appropriate audience barriers where required

Preferred Requirements

  • Dedicated performance power circuits, up to 32A where required
  • Professional FOH sound engineer
  • Dedicated lighting operator or access to lighting desk control
  • Raised stage platform where possible
  • Controlled lighting environment or black backdrop

Not every venue has dedicated sound, lighting or event production already in place.

Where required, Almost Human can provide scalable production solutions to support performances in marquees, private venues, outdoor spaces and temporary event environments.

Professional Sound

Scalable sound reinforcement can be provided for a wide range of event environments, from private functions and marquees through to corporate events and outdoor productions.

Systems can be tailored to suit audience size, venue layout and performance requirements.

Intelligent Lighting

Lighting options can include intelligent fixtures, atmospheric lighting, dance floor effects, uplighting and performance lighting designed to complement the event environment.

Additional production elements, including haze and visual effects, may also be incorporated where appropriate.

Event Support

Additional services can include DJ support, background music, warm-up sets, post-show entertainment and event continuity throughout the evening.

These services can be integrated alongside either performance format to help maintain atmosphere and audience engagement from arrival through to the end of the event.

Frequently asked Questions

Do you provide sound and lighting?

Sound and Lighting can be provided alongside the act for private events should the need arise. When working with larger venues and public performances our tech team liase with the AV management services to determine specifics.

What does the venue need?

The venue needs to provide adequate space for the performance equipment, suitable power access and a clear route for load in/out. Suitable close proximity vehicle parking for upto 3 vehicles is preferred. Larger venues may already have appropriate sound systems and staging in place. Technical requirements can be shared in advance to help venues prepare properly for the Daft Punk tribute act performance.

How far in advance should we book?

Booking in advance is recommended as the act requires a minimum lead time of around three months due to scheduling commitments. Many clients choose to secure dates well in advance, often up to 2 years ahead, particularly when planning festivals, corporate events or key private celebrations. Provisional dates are only held for 10 days before being re-designated as available.

What is the minimum number of members in the team

For smaller events, the lowest number is 4, comprised of 2 performers and 2 support/tech crew. 

What are the hospitality requirements

At every event the crew and performers require a secure, changing area with washroom facilities, soft diet drinks, including bottled water.
For conference level performances that span a non-typical time period, the provision of a hot meal and light snacks are requested.
